About Me.

For much of my youth and early twenties, I felt lost. I couldn’t understand why I experienced life so differently from those around me. I struggled with poor concentration, intense emotions, and patterns of self-destructive behaviour that often left me feeling overwhelmed and isolated.
Â
For a long time, I believed this was simply who I was—that my past experiences and trauma would define me for the rest of my life.
Â
Like many people searching for answers, I spent years navigating NHS services, private counselling, different medications, and countless appointments. While each offered something valuable, I still felt as though I wasn’t truly understanding myself or moving forward in the way I had hoped.
Â
Eventually, I reached a turning point. I decided that if I wanted lasting change, I needed to take an active role in understanding my own mental health. That decision became the beginning of a journey that transformed my life.
Â
I immersed myself in studying a wide range of mental health topics, completing professional training and developing a deeper understanding of the mind, behaviour, trauma, emotional wellbeing, and practical coping strategies. After years of learning and personal growth, I became a member of ABCAP and gained professional recognition within the field.

Â
Today, my passion is helping others find the clarity, confidence, and practical tools that I once searched for myself.
Â
Although I hold professional qualifications, I choose to describe myself as a Mental Health Coach because my approach is different from traditional counselling. Rather than spending months revisiting the same experiences, my focus is on helping you understand what’s happening, develop effective coping strategies, and build a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
Â
Our work together is practical, supportive, and solution-focused. We’ll identify the challenges you’re facing, understand why they’re happening, and create realistic strategies to help you move forward with confidence.
Â
If you’ve been feeling lost, overwhelmed, or if any part of my story resonates with you, I’d be honoured to support you on your own journey. Taking the first step can be difficult, but it could also be the beginning of lasting positive change.
